I partnered with HANA to create an unforgettable brand identity for the home decor e-commerce company. At HANA, functional art is chosen to style the home over mass-produced goods - pieces that tell a story, spark the customer’s creativity, and serve as heirlooms to pass from generation to generation.

HANA refined its purpose and values, outlined its target market, solidified its market position through quantitative market research, and created a tagline. We set clear, measurable, and time-bound marketing and communication objectives to accomplish over the next few years.

Brand Identity

My team crafted a stunning hand-drawn logo and a cohesive visual style that perfectly embodied HANA's organic, handmade, yet elevated aesthetic. The homeware illustrations add a playful element to the branding, increasing versatility and brand recognition. The branding is strong and confident, but soft and refined, showcasing the duality of societal expectations of women.

I am in the early stages of building an e-commerce Shopify site for HANA. We plan to equally represent customers and artist collaborators, optimizing for both audiences.
